Default F2100 Colour Calibration?

Hi, I notice that my F2100 prints a lot less blue than my display. I am a tech and long time in this industry so I understand color space and calibration. I just don't see anywhere to calibrate the F2100. The display is calibrated. I only see the RGB sliders on the print settings in Garment Creator. Is that the only method we have to calibrate? And then we have to do it every time/job individually? Is that right?

Thanks!!
😀

The short answer is yes you cannot calibrate the f2100/f2000. what you have to do is print a color chart pick whichever color it is supposed to be and enter those rgb values into the art work and you should get the color you are looking for. I had to do this because my f2000 was not able to print navy blue to save its life but as long as I manipulated the art to be rgb values that the printer prints in I was golden.

I need to slightly change my earlier answer I forgot about something. If you purchase a different software and a profiling tool you can calibrate the printer of course that is like a couple $1000 those color profiling tools are really expensive. So I take it back you cannot calibrate the colors with what is provided for you but if you spend some money to overhaul the RIP program you can do it.

Thanks, James. Eventually I guess I'll invest in some RIP software. Thanks again!

you can also load a custom icc profile into the garment creator (under advanced -> media profile -> user profile).
Don't expect a completely different result, because this issue is related to the epson inks (epsecially when printing white garments where you can obtain a better results printing two times the same image).
For example the DuPont inks are really much better on white garments, but worse on dark
