Default Cartridge Based Ink Comparison

Looking for a comparison of the cartridge based ink systems for the F2000/F2100.

Epson: $217/600mL
https://www.dtgmart.com/product/epso...rome-dg-600ml/

Inkspace: $130/600mL (90 sec cure time?)
https://dtgprintsupply.com/collectio...es_SureColor-F

Image Armour: $145/600mL (35 sec cure time?)
F-SERIES DTG INKS - Image Armor DTG Pretreatment Solutions

Has anyone used all three? Are the advertised cure times accurate? Do the heads clog more often? Any other dangers/advantages I should be aware of using non-OEM ink?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Rossomeness,

To give you our opinions besides the Epson OEM ink, color profile of Image Amaour is vastly different from the OEM color profile, which can already be a big concern if you're working with high-end customers and clients with vibrant colors and detailed images whereas the difference is hardly noticieable with our ink.

In terms of cure time, we recommend 90 seconds for the better wash result, imprint quality, and long life expectancy.

Hey guys! On OEM Epson ink the cure time is going to be 70 seconds on dark. Epson recommends 45 seconds (Max) per ink layer so a dark garment should be looking at 90 seconds cure max. I like to break that up into two 45 seconds presses just to let some of the water based ink vapors out.

Most users can get a normal cure in about 60 seconds and stable temp of 340.

I'd like to add STS Inks to the question here about non-OEM F2000/F2100 cart inks. Has anyone tried theirs?

try to search on this forum because there are many duplicate topics regarding this argument.
Anyway, I used for few months the image armor, but only the white (about 20-30 cartdriges) and one of black.
The white is good, but more sensitive to the low humidity. No clog problems (if you keep the humidity level above the 50%) and printing results are quite similar to the epson, but less forgiving if the printed garment is not pretreated very well.
Black works well even if the nozzles check is always horrible to see on my printer (all the nozzles fire right, but they are not correctly disposed).

I did search this topic, but didn't find a single thread with all of the OEM alternatives in one thread, so I started this one. Would love to hear if others are using the other brands of inks.

Thanks for your response about the Image Armor branded inks. Are you still using them or have you gone back to OEM?
