Default Printing on Towels Epson F2100

Hello,

I would like to know if you can print on velour golf towels, as we manufacture towels but I personally have no clue about printing it on golf towels which has velour on side and terry on the other, Can some one please let me know if they've every printed using EPSON F2100.

Thank you

I have printed onto golf towels in the past with a Epson F2000 and that is not much different than the F2100 so yes it can be done but be warned it is not the easiest thing in the world to do.

The higher the "pile" the tougher it will be to get good coverage.

If you are just doing towels and nothing else I'd say no it would be easier for you to get a 4 screen manual press to do towels and most likely cheaper. But if you plan on doing shirts and other items besides just towels I say go for it if you do things right you can make back your money in a year or so. I do towels, shirts/hoodies, coasters, canvas and mouse pads on my F2000. I am thinking of adding in a F2100 to my line up because my demand has gone up, I have 3 neoflexs, 2 f2000 and 2 GTXs currently all running 10 hours a day. So just ask yourself if you are going to just do towels or not than decide.

We have one customer who only prints on towels. They started with one Epson F2100 printer and have just now purchased their 3rd printer from us.

We bought from you as well, We've never tried as I am a little concern how it will come, as if it will break the head as towels have heavier terry loops

Never a problem with the F2100. The Epson F2100 has a height guard feature which will detect if the material is too high and will touch the printhead. It will prevent the printer from printing if it detects that and will eject the item being printed. You would then just adjust the platen height to compensate.
