Default Epson F2000 no suction in capping station

I think the suction lines may have come off or are leaking. I see moisture under the cap. Question: How do I remove the cap to inspect what is going on under it?

You are going to have to replace the capping station. We had this happen a while ago.

Thanks. Can you tell me did you have to call a tech or is this something replaceable by the user?

Even if this thread is more than 2 years old this might be useful:

I had same problem yesterday. My nozzle check was really bad so I thought I should make tube celaning but it did'nt help.
Then I recognized the problem. no suction in capping station.

What happened? The tube from nozzle / capping station was clogged. The pump was blocked.

What helped: Open the printer, pull out caping station, find the pump unscrew it, clean it. rebuild.

mechanicly its not very complicated and you dont have to unplug all wires.

ready!
