Default Adding Foil To A DTG Printed T-Shirt

I am wanting to give this a try and was wondering if anyone in here has messed around with this any. I am wondering what kind of foil should I try and where should I buy it from.

Can this be done using an F2000 and if so how?

Here is an Anajet video that I have found that perked my interest.

Never worked for me. Wish it did. I just had a world of problems with the foil adhering to the pretreat where it shouldn't, and I also had problems where the foil didn't adhere to anything at all.

It's a LOT of R&D to get it right and the market for it in my niche segments was close to zero. I'm going to try it again in 2016, though, because I've had some requests for it lately.

It is a pretty cool look and a few of them displayed in my front show room would be pretty neat. Dang video sure makes it look easy.

Videos always make everything look easy, lol.

I actually had a volunteer helper who was able to nail DTG foil but he also had anger management issues and had to be asked not to return. Some days I wish I kept him around just for foil work.

I tried this and I found that one thing that will help with foil sticking to pretreatment is to let the pretreat air dry, or only hover it. You need a lot of pressure on the foil too.

Not a big enough demand to make it worth the time to perfect,

I think that it works well for Anajet because the inks are different on the Epson based printers (viscosity wise)
