Default Firebird FBX dark on a light shirt?

Good morning all! I have been printing black ink only on Grey Heather (90-10) next level shirts that I have treated with the firebird FBX100 dark PT. No white ink underbase, just Black.

The results are outstanding, very bright and crisp.

My question is: Is there something I need to know about washability or any other problems I may encounter? I want to try this method on a light yellow shirt and was wondering what y'all thought.

Hi Jerry,

On those light shirts you can start to see issues with washability if you use FBX-100, or any company's white ink printing pretreat. "White Ink Printing" is always on those pretreats meant for darks to indicate that the pretreatment reacts with white ink specifically, where light color specific pretreat is intended to react with CMYK.
