Default Need Help with Settings

I just got my Epson F2000. I have artwork that is .png DPI is 600, but the print doesn't look good. Is there someone out there that would take a look at my artwork to tell me what change I may need to make in the Garment Creator settings for this to look good. I'm printing on black. PLEASE??

Post it on here as an attachment and I'll take a look at it. You might want to open it in Photoshop and knock it down to around 200 dpi so the file isn't so big first.

Can you post what it looks like printed on the garment?

Here it is. The white is not solid over the black. And the lettering on top doesn't print good.

What kind of shirt is it? The material does not look like it has a very tight weave. You should be using 100% Ringspun cotton.

It's 100% cotton. I'm thinking it's my settings.

I never print on ring spun hardly ever. I like Gildan Ultra 2000's and my results have been very good so far. I printed 50 ring spun black t;s Friday and 50 of the same last week and I still like the Glidans better. Maybe that is just what I am used to and figured out who knows but it works for me so it can be done.

At what size are you going to print this design?

As dan says, the shirt is crap weave for DTG. If you're expecting good results on that fabric increase pretreat and base white coverage.

This is a Gildan 2000 black t-shirt. The front is 4 1/2" wide. The back will be 12" Wide.

Here you go. I have two versions. Highest Quality for printing best looking show off prints and Medium Quality for most bulk printing. I have three files included. PSD Photoshop, PNG and PRN Garment Creator.

I am at home not at work so I cannot test these for myself. Good luck and let me know what's up.

...having trouble uploading the GC prn files. Gimmie a minute.

We print with both Gildan 2000 and ringspun (Anvil 980) and the Anvil are by far superior prints for the same ink usage. 99% of our customers prefer the soft feel compared to the 2000.

Different strokes for different folks I'd say.

My customers love the Gildans and ask for them.

Looks like the back files are too big to upload. I'll think of something.
