lol.. yeah but they were happy with GC
I still see problems with the print, but given this is like the 2nd or 3rd print, I'm happy, I know it could look better, that was a close up with iPhone and crap lighting, also with a crap heatpress that is still causing grief

Can you show a base pic of what neoRIP does?

At least im getting better results than what I was getting
Yes mate. DFA is a big improvement on GC. Honestly not here to shoot anything down. Just keeping it real. This is the NeoRIP v Cadlink thread isn't it?

My first print with NeoRIP rocked! No excuses, no change in settings, just Drop/Rip/Print. That's when I fell in love.

Please feel free to check back on my profile for when my NeoRIP prints weren't looking good... Ha!

lol

yeah all a bit of fun, im just trying to see what this print should of looked like with the base white.

I know in a couple of weeks they will have the print wizard added and hopefully this should bring inline with NeoRip Drag and drop quality

I cant buy both and by the time I got a dongle my trial would of ended with DF

Print Wizard? What's that?

Hopefully that's the time I get to trial DFA again because I'd like to see the improvement.

You shouldn't buy anything until you have trailed both RIPs. What's the rush?

This is the NeoRIP v DFA thread isn't it?

Business requires quality prints, GC doesn't do this and White ink is killing me

Because I haven't seen any examples that compare to the NeoRIP reproductions yet. It's an enticing statement. Just trying to get the ball rolling. We can all start with a new image if that suits...

good point

I don't think DF will produce the same quality using straight Drag Drop Print settings, I think you would have to tweak it to get 100%, but once you have this setting it will be Drag and Drop.

I'm printing all night so I cant stop working, but hopefully others using the RIP are up for the challenge

PS. what is the main problem you see with DF base coat? maybe I can tweak the setting here and see what the result achieves

Cheers Ryan

Lets do this image
But I want to see all stages of the print
http://www.hdwallpapers.in/walls/pla...tdown-wide.jpg

no pulling into PS, just straight drop in and print 300mm wide (don't want to waste all my ink) lol

Err OK. Just let me find a piece of left-over fabric to print that on. Can we doing something cool? That said, NeoRIP will chew that up after the weekend.

I printed this image just because I liked the look of the reds

This is drag/drop/print one pass white 1440x1440 colour 1440x1440

I'm sure it can do better!

just my two cents.. to be able to make a definite comparison on print quality, all involved should use same picture, same size, same resolution and very importantly exact same tee shirt (brand, color and style)
r81 and gatorGRAFIX like this.

Mammath and myself use ASColour Shirts and he will be selecting the image at 300mm wide - drag and drop print. I guess anyone that cant get ASColour shirts will have to use a similar style shirt

I bought NeoRIP because it was totally superior to DFA in terms of what it was capable of producing on standard settings.
totally agree.
In fact I'm testing DFA, but haven't purchased it yet.
I need to try also the NeoRip before.

I used the Hi Res Black Media queue from NeoRIP which is what I normally use for most of my detailed prints
from what I understood DFA is really improved since when you try it, in fact the prints with default settings are ok in most cases (except for some images like darth vader ones).
Yesterday I updated the DFA driver and a two new queues are popped out (Black Best Graphics Fades and Black Best Fades)
Both are based on the series driver.

Below you can find a comparison between these new queues that seems to be work better for images like this.
From my point of view the output image quality is only one point to be considered (of course probably the most important). I also really interested in printing timings and ink consumptions.
So it would be nice to add these informations together with the printed shirt image

which queue have you used?
Black Best, Black Graphics Best and the new Fades generate different outputs.
I also lowered the ink underbase strong to 70% instead of 100% in the queues that use the direct driver because suggested in youtube video of cadlink. This is a lot ink saving.
