Default What did you print on your F2000 today?

Figured I'd start a post like this because I love seeing everyone's t-shirt pics. Show me what YOU can do on your Epson F2000! Let me know if you use GC or another RIP.

I'll start it off with these prints I made yesterday using Garment Creator.

You can upload your pics easily and free if you like here:

Postimage.org - free image hosting / image upload

I choose to resize my file for a 15" monitor. After the upload be sure to click on the orientation to get your picture turned correctly and the just click on one of the "cpy to clipboard" button next to one of the "Hotline for Forums" links. You can now paste that link into your post.

Here's a flat image, no layers with black background. Dropped straight into NeoRIP on standard settings. Customer was blown away with the result.

For these types of detailed designs I always use High Res Mode.

Looks beautiful. Should be getting Neorip in any day now. Played around with GC and Digital Factory, and I'm hoping Neorip will produce better results. Digital Factory looks promising, but I haven't gotten the prints I'm looking for with it yet.

I'm in Japan, so I'm working on finding good, affordable blanks here. The distributor gave me a box of different styles of Printstar so far. Anvil seems like a better bet here.

Very crisp and clean. Nice colors too. Was this printed in Garment Creator?

Geno, this was printed with NeoRip....since I needed some great white, I used the color media production option, and print the white layer twice at 85%, then the color layer and they came out GREAT...very please customers for this one...

It's a shame the black has to have base white under it in that print but we don't really have a choice knowing the Epson CMYK won't adhere to a pretreated garment without white under it. As long as the customer is happy that's what counts though.

Mark, you are spot on...it caused my white ink cost to be double what it should have been. I was thinking that we need to start a thread to get Epson's attention that we have a less than desired ink formulation with the Epson Inks...it works great for the Epson Company and selling lots of white ink but it is way inferior to the DuPont and Firebird inks.

Randy is working with me to build a custom profile that will allow a small amount of white ink under the black ink so that the Epson cmyk have something to bond to...but that is still work in progress...

Is there any way to minimize the tiny bits of white poking up through the solid colors?

Yes. I found out the hard way that is usually shirt preparation. Press your t-shirt flat first, pretreat and press flat again to dry or after it is dry. This should do it. Worked for me.
