It's been a busy day Roy... especially when one is passionate about what they do and demoing new ways to do it. The journey never ends...

No-one looks at print this close but I did take some macro pics today during the turmoil of production.

NeoRIP

GC

NeoRIP lacks the definition of GC but the contrast is all that matters on a shirt.

The NeoRIP reproduction absolutely rocks! The way it uses the garment colour gives the image so much more depth and contrast. I'm keeping the GC reproduction for a rag shirt and sending my customers the NeoRIP prints. Almost 1/2 the price in ink costs too! I'm very impressed.
Didn't I say that? M, you are nasty fighter. I saw your battle with Ghost xxx. Never bend. Lol.
Welcome to NeoEpsonFamily. I feel like gained million soldiers by you like NeoRIP.

ANZAC spirit Peter. Digger spirit. I'm a patriot of this country and a product of those values. Easy targets yes, but that's how we held Gallipoli.

Really impressed with NeoRIP on darks. Bloody fantastic!

So happy you as BIG Speaker in TSF describe as BLOODY FANTASTIC (I heard Bloody word so many times in UK also )
I love AUS People, scerenery, beach, mountain etc except Stiff prices. I was a smoker last year. Price was $25/pack. Dunkin Donut 4 coffees and DZ donut was near $50. Hotel 3.5* $500/nt LOL.
Hey speaking of money, you will save lots of money on ink to using all kind RIPs.
However, your Demo RIP will expires next week. Let me know your decision. I hope you will be a Proud NeoEpsonFamily soon.
Cheers! RIPs are on me always.

Aus' is a big continent close in size to North America (-Alaska), but with only 10% of the U.S population. With such little demand we pay more and charge more.

One of the first things I learnt how to do in NeoRIP was put in the figures for costing prints. This design pictured above was half the price in NeoRIP compared to GC.
I think GC does over estimate though because it must take into consideration the amount of ink the F2000 throws away each month... but the simple fact is there is a lot less ink going down on the shirt using NeoRIP in comparison to GC, hence the savings. I'd say it's closer to 20-30% and at the price of F2000 inks that's big dollars!

If you use weight scale You will find out your savings are greater.
Quality and Money saving. There are no reason to say NO. It is not easy to let people know this but few more Mark will spread Real value of RIP. Some case RIP is paid itself less than a month. 300-500 shirts?
Thank you so much for your time and efforts to Sharing your exprience with us.
Cheers! RIPs are on me always.

You can do a print from the front panel of the F2000 which will show you the actual ink usage and this is the best means of comparing ink usage.

Epson GC costing has a massive contingency built in.

We did a print test of a solid white area at 1440x1440 and therefore we can work out the exact amount of ink used based on the dot size 21.4pl and every dot being printed. So we know what is actually printed (based on tech specs) and it came to 0.2752ml, which is what we had in our RIP and used for costing.
In GC it says it was going to use 0.39ml, which is a 33% increase.

I queried Epson Japan on this as I was concerned about the difference, but Epson Japan confirmed we had done our calculations correctly and that GC included maintenance ink consumption which is why there was such a big difference, but they could not give us details of the formula they used.

So I think it can be a bit miss leading looking at the GC figures for a comparison of ink usage.

Best regards

Peter, I have not been, it is on my bucket list. Now that I have retired from my day job and doing our printing business full time I hope to be able to visit in the next few years and yes it would be good to connect with Mark. We had a good conversation the other day via Skype

Have a Great Day!!

This image has a black background so Garment Creator can't print this Peter. It can't knock the black background out like NeoRIP does so well.
