With so many users documenting the same issue over the years I hoped Epson would have thoroughly addressed the problem by now. But the upgrades just haven't come. Reformulating the white ink by removing pigment hasn't worked, and that has created more issues for the user having to change prior settings to adapt to thinner ink. The cap flushing hasn't worked either and we still see blockages due to the poor design of the cap and drain tubes.

At the end of the day everyone loses, both the owners and Epson. Resale value is absolute peanuts, and one would have to be stark raving mad to buy a F2000 these days given the information available.
You do not have to call Epson all the time. Depending on the situation, it's either Damper or suction cap. You can purchase Damper (CR Duct) and Suction Cap (Maintenance Assembly) easily outside of Epson. If you replace them within 2~3 weeks you will have a brand new printer again.

We have an F2000 that didn't print anything for 4 days and went to use it the 5th day and no white ink on nozzle pattern. Numerous head cleanings, tube washings. Then had Epson send us 2 new white cartridges and 2 new cleaning cartridges. Did white tube wash with cartridge still no print. Of course Epson wanted to send a tech to replace the head at over $3000. This is our 2nd head issue. We purchased a kit to clean the head. It cleared out the white channels that were definitely clogged. Reassembled to have now no ink including color on nozzle pattern or sending a design to print. Has anyone done this cleaning procedure to have this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
