Default Now $16,995?

I paid cash for my printer. I feel a bit disheartened that now you can get the following:

I SPENT MY life's saving on this printer and waited many months for it to arrive and now you can get it $16,995 when I paid literally 21k for mine with the same stuff?

https://www.belquette.com/index.php/...urecolor-f2000
EPSON JULY SPECIALS!

For the Month of July, EPSON is offering a $2,000 Mail in Rebate on the SureColor F2000 Direct to Garment Printer. We will also be offering a free set of 600ml UltraChrome DG Inks at no additional charge.

Retail pricing on the F2000, is $19,995, our price is $18,995 and with the Mail in Rebate offer, your final price would be $16,995.00 We will also be including shipping and free training, a complete total package value of $22,374.70!

*To receive the rebate you must purchase the printer before the end of the promotional period from an Epson Authorized Professional Imaging Reseller who has the printer in stock. Printers are sometimes in very short supply, so please check with your reseller before you order to insure it is available before the end of the promotion. If you place an order and the printer is not in stock by the end of the promotion, your dealer will allow you to cancel the order. If stock is expected at a later date, and there is a new rebate offer at that time, your delaer will assist you in reordering using the new rebate.

**Training Valued at $500, Travel Expenses are an Additional Cost.

Available on Part Numbers SCF2000SE and SCF2000WE only.

Not only that, but it makes our printers's equity worth less immediately. I want to be loyal to a brand, but this is not good loyalty to the consumer.

It is common knowledge that "early adopters" of pretty much anything pay the piper.....So this move does not come as a surprize to me....Also, why are you worried about equity?....Are you already planning on selling?.....If no, just get out and market your services and make money...

Well, if you have money to piss away, then no big deal. However, that 3-4k could come very handy for a guy who just spent his life savings. I have about 50k tied up in my business and every penny counts.

I'm 30 years old. Any money I feel wasted upsets me. I get a little pissed when I see my 4 month old product now selling 4k cheaper.

So seriously.....Are you telling me that you had no idea when you went to the "front of the line" you would not pay a "premium" for your equipment?....

Why the rebate so quickly after the product launch? Didn't it just come out this year?

Epson are smart folks.....They knew they could charge a "premium" for "early adopters" and once the lineup was reduced, they reduced the price....Pretty much a "standard" business practice in the technology sector.....

Well then I guess you screwed up.....Now get over it and quit wasting all your time and energy on "history" and work on the "present" and make some money...You have a piece of technology that few others have....It is not a "boat anchor" it is a "cash machine"....So please use it to your advantage....Good luck.....

Wait. Did you spend 21k on this printer too? No? You don't have a DTG?

This post is for actual owners of the F2000. Please leave and stop harassing me. I'm not crying, I'm upset. I don't need to explain myself or defend myself to you.

Now to the other owners, Thoughts?

I outsource everything because I make far more letting others do the "heavy lifting"...

And when you post on a "public forum" you do not get to make the rules... So I can say what I want....

I was just trying to help you get past this and become productive..... Now I understand why you are worried about the value of your machine....

Buckeye fan I see, well maybe if you would've went to Michigan, they would've taught you not to spend your life savings on business equipment, just to see it depreciate months later. Ooooh! Dagger in the heart! Dagger in the heart! Who does that?? Yeah that sounds like something a Buckeye would.
