No problem. Epson is destroying their wholesale channel with this strategy. Anyone who buys from them knowing this should not complain when they get screwed.

Yes I agree. Even this would help but I honestly would still go for more because the difference is just too much, especially for 2 months after receiving a machine. It does not matter if any of the original purchasers have made millions since receiving their machine because it is just a huge stab in the back.

The dealers aren't going to take the profit they have already made off the ink and give it back. That's the bottom line. I can't say any of us would do that for our customers when we offer deals on t-shirt sales either.

The rebate is the worst kicker in all of this.

You are applying retail thinking to B2B transactions for capital equipment purchases.

I am talking specifically about the ink when I made this statement. It is my understanding that the dealers eat the cost of the ink in this July Promo. EPSON eats the 2k rebate.

All in all, the printer net wholesale's for 13,999. Anything above that the dealer profits.

This information is not correct. Although I can't disclose pricing, I can tell you we pay more. Any incentives to purchase (including ink) would have to come from EPSON since they are the manufacturers and would have the margins to do so.

Good morning all Epson fellows
Dealer is messenger of Epson. We have salary sort income. I mean not as big as most are thinking. Bonus can be arranged by performance and future ink selling. Not many business can run business with only selling Epson F2000.
Don't kill the messenger! Poor General's behavior. No heroes kill messenger yet.
I am loving messenger with good news. Never want to deliver bads. Lol.
Have a fantastic weekend. Nice weather in east . Perfect day for chase birds on green.
Cheers! Beers are on me always.

My mistake. I was sent a brand new DEMO unit and that is what the invoice stated. I understand that the non demo's may be higher. Sorry.

Any dealers out there able to hookup a set of white ink at a discount for the first time buyer's? That would be nice considering the $4,000 + rebate cblock we're gettting.

Demo units can't be sold as new and we have to hold onto them for a minimum of 4-6 months. Since we can't sell it as new, the pricing will be lower for when we eventually do sell it. Obviously you receiving a demo unit would have been a mistake and no matter how many machines sold, we can't get that low of a dealer cost.

We have a minimum we are allowed to sell ink at and can't go lower than that. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you the price.

AA paid DEMO unit cheaper than normal stock printers from Epson. This is another advantage to messengers. And demo can be sell without MSRP or UMRP.
Cheers! Beers are on me always.
