Default Epson F2000 Before sales questions

I'm thinking about buying a F2000. I have a couple of questions I would like to get answers for:

1. There is no Epson DTG Dealer in my state. I'm wondering how reliable you have found the machine to be.

2. Has anyone done any analysis of the cost of ink per shirt at different levels of coverage? I know the Epson software provides such info but is it accurate?

Thank you.

Epson doesn't supply any answers to the ink consumption question. They have a tab on garment creator for it. But when asked about the use of it they say it's not available. So far we like the f2000.

The machine is very reliable. Yes, I'm a dealer, but I've also been using the printer since December, and I've been extremely impressed with the reliability of the printer. If you don't have a dealer in your state, it's not something that is necessary. If there are issues with the system that are hardware related, you can contact Epson and they will be on site next business day. Otherwise, contact the dealer that you purchased from for other questions.

This is a difficult thing to do. There are so many types of designs and colors that it's not always consistent. I printed multiple designs today where the light shirts were averaging just over $0.41 and the dark garments were closer to $2.50 on average. The calculator can at least give you a close estimate before it's printed.

On reliability I will have to agree with Jerid. I also have been running in for 2 months with zero issues. Really so far the most trouble free printer I have seen. As far as ink, numbers vary widely. It is beneficial in most cases to use a third party rip, most of these can save u ink and improve print quality. However not required.

The Epson warranty for the F2000 appears to be the most generous in the industry. As mentioned, if there is any issue that can't be taken care of over the phone, Epson will send a service technician to your location to repair the printer. At no charge for anything. In addition the printhead is also covered in the warranty.

Does that mean Epson will pay expenses for a tech to come out if there is no Epson dealer in the state? I can understand if they don't charge for the service call but $800 in airfare and $400 in hotel still makes it for a less than compelling support option.

Humm~
$800 air fair? Are you living on moon?
$400 hotel? Tech stays in 5star hotel?
Sounds like scam to me. Over advertise and crook dealer.
Same as Merchandise ($10) is free but shipping is $29.99 TV scam. Actually worse because Epson dealer should be honorable.
Sell with pride and honesty and straight.
Try Randy or others. Randy is commercial airline pilot. He may not charge air fare. He flies for real free. on top you will love him. One of nicest guys I met this industry. He will never BS you unless you put gun in his mouth (maybe).
Straight talk is The Best way to do business.
Free is free! Not as Main dish is free but you have to have desert for $50. What a low class. Where they sold their Pride? Or did they have any?
You should tell us who is this dealer is.
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

Then advertise as

Hotel in USA $100-150 is luxury level. Not as UK or Germany. Don't remember Poland. Wasn't bad I ~.

If Epson needs to come to your location, they will cover all expenses as long as it's under warranty. The dealers are not the ones who would do any kind of repairs, it would be certified EPSON techs. Dealers would come for set up and training, this is typically where expenses would come in to play.

If you need a repair on the Epson F2000 Printer while you're under warranty Epson will send a technician out to your facility at no charge. There is no charge for the service or for the travel. It does not matter if there is no dealer in your state.

We are not talking about Service visit by Epson tech.
Dealer training. Does my English that bad to understand what he is saying? Or others are worse than mine? Hotel $400 is so funny.
It is not hard talk straight.
His words never come from Epson. One of us. suddenly not AA.
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

This is always the ultimate question! Shirts seem to change in manufacturing over time. At this point, the latest ones I've tested that seem to be pretty consistent are:

FOL Lofteez HD, Cotton Heritage and Spectra. Sanmar's PC61 seems to be pretty consistent as well, but I've worked with them a little more limited.
