@ Peter its better to not have machines sometimes, support can be crazy and easier to tell off "that guy" sometimes when they make you mad because if you are manufacturer and dealer you have to play nice to each other. I don't have to be nice to anyone lol, just be honest and strike with a hammer when needed.
Crack me up
I am glad I am in your side.
All Epson dealers are not same. It is not just sell and take off. Leave customers in EPSON's hand completely after collect money(?). Time will tell~
Dealers should be better than Epson techs. Know in and out like our wife.
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

40%? Your wish? Lol.
How about 57.30659% more than DuPont on going price.
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

You have to factor in cleaning supplies, and solutions as well as electrical outside the ink cost.

Lol yeah well I guess we could agree that not all dealers are the same then! Yeah this is what I want to see happen because they will have a tech support center and I don't think they will need too much BUT they will need to answer basic questions about pretreating, care and if they have a problem, the tech support hopefully will be able to help. If not then they will call your cell Peter lol.

@MauiCustomTshirt it was good seeing you again in Long Beach.

Now I'm waiting for the Epson to be out in the wild in the hands of end users before I make the purchase.
I think I'm kind of in the same boat I really want to see what the first round of owners report back after having the machine in their shops in a realtime environment.

Things so far have sounded very promising though.

Thanks Rodney! It's always a pleasure seeing you.

I agree, the Epson does sound promising. The only problem is, when I do decide to buy, who do I buy from. Every Epson reseller was absolutely terrific answering all my questions at the ISS.

I suppose it will inevitably come down to the rip.

I don't know how well Epson service will be until leash is released. My hope is high. However, as a distributor I cannot, cannot, will not totally depends on Epson service team.
Cheers! Rips are on me always.

I'm wondering what type of experienced techs will be working for Epson's support team. Are they the same ones that support their other printers? Did they get training or will they be reading from a computer screen like a telemarketer? I'm sure most customers will go straight to the dealers for experienced support.

Billy, the techs are certified EPSON techs. We aren't able to even offer this service unless we were certified. The techs are trained specifically on this printer.

Yeah I think that this is something that we've all been asking and waiting about. Good luck to the people who put screwdrivers in the power source while plugged in, had seen that once or twice lol
