Agreed. We have printed a huge number of sample shirts on our demo unit, day in day out, without any hiccups.

The last word heard directly from one Epson engineer is that the printers are beig manufactured right now. The printers will be shipped during late March.
At the Atlantic City show there will be several units for demo purposes.

I want to see less talk from distributors and more from end users. Where's all the beta users?

Most of them have nondiscosure agreements, so they have limited posibility to share.

I'm sure they do, I guess we'll find out soon huh? I've seen some good prints and feedback from the show. Will look forward to hearing back from customers when they get the machine.

As a dealer, it's tough to come across in a manner that allows the reader to believe what is being said because of they hype of any new product.

That being said, this is a solid printer. Time will tell as they begin rolling out to their new owners.

i am starting to get a but frustrated with the delay... anxious to get this in my shop.

What do you guys use for laying over top of your garment when heat pressing. Right now I'm using EZ's wax paper and I don't like how quickly it needs to be replaced. Newbie question I know.

I usually use about every 20 prints then replace. Totally up to you because after so many they curl up or get brown. Yeah Jerid is the man!

I get those wrinkles in the paper after just a couple uses. that messes up the image.

Do you dwell hover first to get the ink semi cured?

sorry to hi-jack the thread...

messes up an image??? i've been doing DTG since 2008, and never has a wrinkled paper messed up an image! also, if you cut your paper to fit just inside the edges of your heat press platen, it won't wrinkle as quickly/badly. i've gotten many, many uses out of the silicon and regular parchment papers. Kraft paper from Stahls is the best i've used, and i have hundreds of uses out of a single sheet.

i've never noticed a difference when i've hovered versus not hovering. i guess if the ink is still "pooled" on the shirt, but that's a separate issue. heavy pressure to dry pretreat, light pressure to cure the ink. my cure pressure is just heavy enough to have the heat plate make contact with the shirt.
