And btw... I am more excited and sure of my decision today than 3 weeks ago when I made my deposit. No water on me. I am not getting into the business to sell printing... it's to sell excitement to my customers. I just see the Epson as being the best tool available to do that with the security that no one else can offer.
Several have sent PM to me. I am glad to help to everyone!

If you own an amusement park you sell exitement. If you own a printer you sell printign services.

This just the kind of marketing Steve Jobs style that I don't like.

And we all know what a failure Steve Jobs was...

The shop I worked at would have customers walk in and we would design their shirts in front of them. Usually took no more than 10 to 15 minutes. But in that time we created their vision. Anyone can sell shirts. But if that is all you have to offer then there is no reason for them to come back the next time. You're just the guy that owns a shirt printer. But if you get them enthused as to their design that they were a part of designing and then print it for them... your customer is now your long term client. A simple ark of text or fade of a photo will excite them beyond just having another hohum shirt. And then it builds from a shirt to a towel to an apron, to a bag, to a ? .... they are eager and happy to put money in your bank. And they come back again. To me, that's exciting. Yes you can do that with most DTG printers out there. But the tea leaves are showing me that the Epson will be the easiest to do it with.

We just ordered ours today, along with the Edge pretreat system. Thanks to Jerid for all of your help. I'm sure I was a pain to deal with! I do look forward to working with this printer as soon as it arrives.

Is it going to be a problem using the 13" wide Edge pretreater with the 16" wide Epson printer?

The EDGE can pretreat up to 20" wide. I don't remember the widest I've pretreated in testing, but we currently have a 16"x20" platen on the EDGE testing it out with the F2000.
