For the most part. There are more controls for ink densities, etc, but the biggest change is the dropping of the black.

Do you have cousin work in Epson? Lol. Jk
So~ not released for what reason? Why? As you said if it is great and nice upgraded.
Not mature?
Epson doesn't want to see customer's relief sooner?
So if you only has this version what good is it for all of us? Except, complains will pileup to Epson. Not fair practice. I will suddenly claim complain first thing tomorrow morning.
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

Beta testers come before dealers because plenty of dealers can't be trusted to report bugs.

I hope you are joking. You are willing to complain? Do you know how I was able to get this software? I showed an interest in what Epson was doing with Garment Creator and I interacted and talked with them. I dug in to find out Garment Creator's capabilities and began working on how to achieve the best prints using Epson's software.

In fairness to my situation, you were selling your product and down playing what GC could do. So while you were focused on you, I was focused on Epson. No special treatment, I just showed I was serious about their product.

I understand, but part of what was entrusted to me was feedback and report issues I'd find. I found bugs they weren't aware of and some they were. Even though we are resellers, I've been acting as a beta tester as well.

I meant no disparagement.

Being a beta tester and a reseller are definitely two different areas. Not all dealers should be beta testers. As someone who used to develop software, it's usually wise to have beta testers from every part of the product sale chain: resellers, tech support, end users, etc.

Good to hear!
I am sure soon you will add pictures on your "Journal". I am a fan of reading your Journal every day.
Any reason you cannot use GC exclusively? You are the Captain of the Ship!
Cheers! Inks are on me always.

i believe epson have the capability/resource to follow famous RIP quality like khotari or cadlink (atleast in image quality)

or even better

the problem is are they willing to spend the resource and time to develop it (i believe they will)

lets wait and see, i have faith in epson

I just got the new Garment Creator v1.8 - Still can't beat the NeoRIP!! Crappy cell phone doesn't show the vibrancy difference but look at how GC handles color fading out into the shirt compared to NeoRIP.

Good post is the cost from the GC calculator or based on weighing before/after then calculating per cc of ink?
Thanks for the post

Eric, even though this is an update to the software, it's still not the update I've been talking about. It's slated to be released by the end of May (assuming all goes well). There are ways to use the same version of GC you have to print it much like the other, with the fade etc, it's just not automatic. And yes, I know the RIP can do it automatically, etc etc., so will the newest version of GC when it's released. (A little preemptive commenting in a friendly kind of way).
