How does the Epson warranty work of Europe?

I am thinking that large European firms have their head office in one country but print in another.

So the office buys the printer pays for the extension on the warranty but the printer is in another country. Also over the warranty period the printer may be moved to another country.

Who covers the warranty?

That is a good question. Well in my expierience, you always establish a daughter company in another european country and make purchases through it through local dealer.

Some times, with high end expensive equipement, or large quantities of equipement you deal with the European HQ of the manufacturer, set the purchase price with them and than negotiate also with local dealer another deal for servicing.

The printer has been used to print for costumers and they are very happy, but more so I'm, this printer is not perfect, but it reproduces colors very well, Ink cost is not outrageous and I don't think you could do much better for a printer this cost. This printer was lent to me and it is not a sale model and I will not keep it, nor could I, I'm testing for Epson not for my sake.

The best thing of all the experience is that Epson has cut curing time by half compared to other Epson printers, that to me is the most promising part of the try out, and the novelty, Epson based printers have been around for a long time, and this at least is a new development in inks.

My setup is tending to higher volumes so only multiple printers would suit me, all said, yes this is good printer no mods needed, but before making a move, ALWAYS check the product first, that is why trade-shows are for.

I cure my firebird inks for 45 seconds with perfect wahsability. Can Epson beat that?

At SGIA, Epson was curing light garments for 35 seconds. Dark garments for 75 seconds. Both at 335F.

All my wash tests ( including dark garments) where pressed only for 45 seconds at 338ºF/170ºC, with perfect results, the recommendation here is longer times for bigger prints, which I didn't follow.
