The price list is already available, as for the manual, releasing it to the public for non-owners, is this normal or the standard? If so, please point me to the NeoFlex and Aeoon manuals, I'd like to take a gander....

I imagine the white edition model of the Epson F2000 will be the most popular one. Both the dual CMYK model and the white ink model are the same price.

If you are asking about the printer, it's $19,995 for either model, with or without white ink.

It is unusual that the two versions are the same price.

I wouldn't say this is unusual. The Mod1 is the same way and I know we aren't the only ones who configure our printers this way at the same price. What is unusual is the plumbing is all the same whether it's a dual CMYK or CMYK plus white system. Roland does this with some of their systems as well and once you set the configuration, you can't change it.

I can see why they do it. Production. One machine build, no hassles. Write the firmware to drive it one of two ways. Much quicker than having two separate printers. As it's been pointed out, the dual CMYK system will most likely have less sales, and this is the best way to keep the lines rolling and not build more than is needed of one or the other. Smart.....

Peter, by releasing in bits and pieces, I suspect maybe they wish to build excitement for it while they continue to work on things.

Lol, how are you Texan?
It is not Epson who release bits and pieces. Can't you see? Epson is bit more classical than us who want to sell EPSON's new baby.
Yes, Epson teasing stage will continue until Jan, Feb. but classic way.
I predicted this will happen in this thread somewhere.
I was right on the money.
News has to carry the value, there are not much to discussed for now.
AA web guy will post all infos Epson gave us except confidential. Public knowledges.= no news. I am sure all dealers will do ASAP.
Cheers! From Caribbean beach(working)

How is tech support going to be handled? By Epson or by dealer? Ink prices aren't good from what I saw on the site. 600ml for white ink cartridge at $220. If maintenance is going to be good then it would balance out. The prints were pretty impressive though. I need to do a wash test

Tech support for the printer is covered by Epson.

They are new to this market but have the capital to do a good job. They will need some really skilled techs to start

Just need to keep in mind that Epson is a very large company with an extensive service organization already in place.
