Default advice for leveling up..

Good evening all!
my name is Will I run a small embroidery company out of central NJ. I started about 2 years ago teaching myself on youtube and my business has been booming. I started with the Brother pr655 since then I have added the Pr1000 and the Pr1000e, these are my babies and can take on everything i have thrown on it w the exception of the structured hat. The problem isnt embroidering them its how far the logo can go down, the way the neck is structured the caps brim is held down by a metal piece and that piece is CONSTANTLY rubbing on the back plastic of the machine , this sometimes causes the hat to get off alignment not to mention scratch the heck out of the plastic and the designed is ruined. i can only get soo close to the brim and my customers tell me all the time its a little higher than standard (where the design sits). This coupled with workload I was thinking of going with the 4 or 6 head Barudan, everything ive read says they are the leader of hat embroidery and a great deal of my current business comes from hats and believe alot of my future business will come from this as well. How does this sound for my level up? sorry mods if this is in wrong place.
