Question SWF Rotary Hook locked up

Sewing a design when my single head SWF machine stopped only to find a broken needle. Upon inspection the needle base had come loose and dropped the needle. Now the rotary hook is locked, I cannot do a manual trim. There is no error code. I have checked all around the bobbin case and can not find any needle parts. Any suggestions to help me get this up and running again? Thanks in advance for any help.

Take the hook out, replace it with a new one, retime it. If you don't have a hook, buy 2 and put the old one back in after you clean it out. Replace it when you get the new one back in. I had this happen once and it should spin freely when out of the machine.

It may be nicked or otherwise damaged. I would replace it not matter what.
