Default My dwell time just doesn't seem right

I just can't get my prints to work using the recommended settings for sublimating fabric. Everywhere I look, they say to use 380 degrees to 400 degrees for 30-60 seconds. Pressing at these number absolutely do not look right and there is still a bunch of ink left on the paper. I end up having to use around 400 degrees for 2 minutes to get an acceptable result (although there is a greenish or reddish tint depending on if I choose Perceptual or Relative Intent)

I contacted InkOwl to see what they suggest and they said that it could be my heat press. I tested the press with a thermal heat gun and it was 5-10 degrees off, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

I use Image Right sublimation paper for my prints, and I've been testing my prints on Vapor Apparel shirts. I do have a color profile installed.

Anyone have any idea what could be happening here?

If you left paper in a press for 2 ,minutes at 400 it would most likely be burnt. Best to post a pic of your results after pressing. Your color issues are a different issue then taking 2 minutes to press a shirt.

NOTE: Our Image Right Sublimation Paper is only printable on the Bright White side.

- try different quality settings (like best photo or glossy photo)
- turn off high speed printing
- no edge smoothing
- advanced icm is turned off

Sounds like your ink may not be sublimation. Does it state it on the bottle?
