Default Difference between Laser printing & Sublimination Heat transfer processes

I currently do HTV on T-Shirts. I’m wanting to add sublimination printings as well. I was recently told that I could buy a Laser jet printer for a lot less money but I’m wanting a quality design, expense not so great that I can’t recoup my money investment and a design that won’t wash off after it’s washed a few times. Which would be my best route to go and a reputable company to purchase from?

Are you aware that sublimation only works on white, or light-coloured materials containing a high percentage of polyester (preferably 100%) and doesn't work at all on cotton?

If this isn't a problem for you then all you'll need to get started is a sublimation printer (even an A4 sized printer is useful), inks and paper. You already have the press.
