Default Epson WF 7110 misaligned heads

Hello,

I have recently encountered a serious problem with my WF 7110's head alignment. The printer has CISS and is used with sublimation inks. It hasn't been used for any serious job for over a month but I have printed test printouts with 1x1inch of each of the 4 colours so that the heads don't get clogged twice a week.

Recently, as the weather got cold here and overall temperatures dropped, that's like the last 2-3 test printouts, I have noticed that I have to clean the heads after each test printout, because they get clogged. After the cleaning, the next printout is fine.

The main problem, however, is that as I have tried to do a full A3 print, I have noticed a serious head misalignment. Now, no matter how many times I try to do the head alignment, I cannot make it so that the prints are okay. Below I post photos of alignment printouts and additional photo of a regular red print (one may see misalignment and some heads being clogged).

Now, where's the reason for so bad misalignment of the heads? I cannot really think of anything.

Thanks for any suggestion

Yeah I've had similar alignment issues with my WF-7110. Have you found a solution?

We have eventually found out that the heads had some dried ink and were clogged. Problem is, automatic cleaning did not help at all. Solution was such:
- open the CISS ink container (we have double opening for each ink container, one used to fil the ink, second one has a pressure normalizer pu into it, we have opened the second one) and put a syringe in
- start printing an image with heavy usage of the given, opened ink color (i.e magenta)
- during the printing, apply a pretty firm pressure using the syringe. Watch out not to press it too strong, as the ink container's 1st opening's latch may simply get blown away, togetr with some ink spilled around
- printer may get messy inside, as ink would be spit out under pressure, just ensure to perfectly clean it out
- repeat for each ink container

It really does work, clogged dried ink gets cleaned, and printer works fine.
