Default Cobra Ink Profile confusion

Using R2280 and Cobra ink in refillables.
I got the ICC profiles from Cobra. Colors are off. When I talked to RIchard through email he said that the profiles for the 2880 were for the old ink RZ7900, that they had changed. THat I should use the R3000 profiles. Didnt' work. So I looked and those are for the RZ7900 ink. The new ink is the CS ink he said in the email.

****
Attached you will find the ink tank layout for the site of your printer. For reordering ink, you must call to place the order. The new reorder part number will be CS8 High temp. The new CS8 ink could be just slightly different in color, then your older ink which is RZ7900. If you need a color profile use the R3000 profile that is on my web site.
******

So I emailed support and he sent back the same RZ7900 profiles.

So confused is it in these profiles that is my issue or more likely the program setups ? I have tried different paper settings. Used the Dyetrans paper and the ICC that is for the Dyetrans paper.

Just like to get this figured out so I can move on.

I just checked the R3000 download I had and there are CS8 profiles, dated: 1/25/14, five in total.

Yep. I skimmed looking through it last night and didn't notice them. Guess the eyes were drawn to the RZ ones.

Any idea what the NZ8 ones are ? See they are photo black which I don't have ink for but curious.

Thanks.

Thanks.
NZ8 was most likely the previous sub ink they were importing before they moved to present CS8.

When I bought Cobra's sub ink for a Epson 3800 I was instructed to put the black in the matte and photo cartridges. I took that to mean that there's no specific matte or photo in regards to their sub ink. Just black.
