Question Epson XP 446 (CMYK) - Switch to DTG inks?

I only print on actual 8.5" x 11" Fabric - so I do not see the need for a textile printer that is specialized for tshirts - when my fabric will feed into a regular printer just fine.. I sell custom cotton labels to quilters and such who apply it on the heirlooms. Yes, I know they sell printable fabric - but it is insanely expensive when you selling a bunch - it eats the profit. So I have started using epson (dura brite) inks and it does work and doens't wash out - but the colors are very dark and lifeless.

Has anyone switched the original inks with refillable cartridges of DTG inks.. I was looking specifically at Dupont and wondering if this was possible. I would get so much more ink for the price I am paying for Epson Dura Brite..

Use Dupont DTG ink inside Epson XP 446?

Don't know much about your printer, but there is an ink specifically for Epson print heads. Check out Image Armor E-Series (E for Epson) ink. It has good color vibrancy and we like it for our epson based dtg printer.
