Hi Mike,

These machines have not begun to ship yet, expect them in the next 60 days or so. Our test unit has been performing quite well, I expect a good reception when the machine is released.

Hi Don,

I did not realize that they are not yet on the market. That explains why there isn't much information about them
Any word about the price yet?

Thanks

we paid 24200, but that was back in september last year when i got told about it, so with the dollar being as crap as it is i don't know if that's the current price.
i know its manufactured here, but allot of the parts are direct from epson so given we are taking a hit with the yen as well i would expect some price movement.
on the other hand its prob a bargain buy for those in the states.

cant wait till its actually running.

A little bit of a teaser here, the Viper was originally developed and the early models were built in Aus. The production of these machines will be done at an ISO 9000 manufacturer in Singapore under the supervision of the DTG development team led by Gordz who occassionaly posts here. We are in the final stages of putting together the last pieces of the puzzle - software and shirt boards.

No more to give. We have machines on order. I expect them in here in mid-February. Once we have them in place we will begin marketing them. No hype, no over-promising things. Too many of our competitors have oversold models prior to their introduction and been bitten squarley in the bum. We are trying to avoid that pitfall.

Indications are that it is a great machine, time will determine if this is a correct assumption. I am excited about the potential, but also know that the machines we currently sell are also rock solid AND have a track record.

Apologies for my ignorance Don, but what's so special about this new model? Is it going to replace any of the current ones like HM1, etc?
