Talking high performance dampers

I just wanted to share a source for dampers I had been buying their normal ones for over a year but this year they came out with a new high performance damper. I have been using it for 6 months now and are very happy. But they are having a special on them now for the new year and right now with the economy every one can use the savings. Hope someone will find this link useful. Order page

Sabrina,

I am curious as to what they told you was the difference between a high performance damper and the old style damper?

Wow looks like the screen has doubled, tripled in size. Would have been great except I've moved onto the EZ Pro bulk ink system already. I think catridges + bulk ink is so much better still.

edit: for anyone using the dampers in thier DTG I recommend you get this new high performance ones, especially with white ink!

We looked at several different options on the dampers and eventually had to have them manufactured to our specs - the standard ones that came form the Chinese sources (as the dampers being dicsussed here are) did not have a fine enough filter screen on them. We had to let the manufacturer know the exact screen mesh we needed. As with all aftermarket components, some will work as well, some will not work as well, understand that we as manufacturers/distributors cannot be responsible for issues that arise because of using parts not purchased from us.

Happy Printing!

We have been using these dampers for quite sometime and have used the same print head for almost a year. So that is testimony enough that they work great. The main thing with all these printers is that you do maintenace on a regular basis making sure the docking station is clean and the wiper area is clean so everything is smooth moving. I think these dampers work great espcially on the white and we have compared them to the orignal dampers to make sure because we had our doubts also. But the mesh was identical just larger.

Thanks for the lead on the hi-performance dampers. I've never had much luck with the original ones. And seems like I only had problems once I flushed out the ink and reloaded them. Almost every time a damper or two would go bad. I'm order some hi-performance dampers tomorrow.
