Default HELP! DTG HM1 Error eject ink lights

Bought a used DTG HM1 a couple weeks ago. Finally got the time to put some ink in it and try to get it going. Installed the software to my new laptop (running windows 10 which may be an issue). Attempted to do an ink charge. Nothing happening. Noticed on top the error eject and ink lights were blinking one after the other. Not a simultaneous blinking. According to the manual the waste pad needs to be reset. Opened the maintenance program, hit initiate for the reset, nothing. Lights still blinking, nothing going on. Machine will go into the load and eject positions but that's about it. ANY help will be awesome. Thanks in advance.

After resetting the counter you have to restart the printer for this to take effect. Also the maintenance program must be ran in compatibility mode for Windows XP, and run as administrator. You can find these options by (right) clicking on the program icon, and selecting properties.
