I know the folks over at M&R and they are definitely a good group. It is a solid printer, but the price point most likely pulls a lot of people away from it and why you probably don't see too many owners. They most likely market to their screen printing market and a lot of those are probably not members on these forums.

We had a DTG Viper. We looked at both the M2 and F2000 to replace it. We went with the F2000. Both printed well but I was tired of being my own printer mechanic. Productivity is about the same and ink cost is higher with Epson. What made my decision was the ability to have someone come out next day to fix instead of me having to order parts, wait and install myself. So far I have been very happy with the F2000. I would highly recommend a good Rip software no matter which printer you go with (we used Kothari on our DTG Viper and use the F2000 version on the Epson).

We had the pleasure of owning and printing with the M2. This machine is an ideal machine for one to many prints and will most likely easily meet your needs. The machine easily connects to a computer and uses an easy to understand RIP software. Support from Coldesi for software questions and or hardware questions is by far the best I have received from customer support centers.

Ink costs like any machine are a factor of what is printed and how extensive the ink is applied. Maintenance never seemed to be a real issue for the M2, the few things that went were immediately replaced by the sales manager at Coldesi.

If you have not seen the machine in operation take a look at some of the online demos that are available. Go to an ISS show or one of the offices Coldesi has an see the unit in operation.

I did start this with we had, as we traded our unit in to Coldesi. We returned to embroidery and now embroider with the Avance machine from Coldesi.

This is a discussion about M2 or F2000 or Mod1 that was posted in the DTG Brand section of the forums.
