Default Light Colour garments on Kiosk3

We are running a kiosk3 and have some great results with black T's no problem and if we shove a white T through it is ok ish wether it be pre treated or not it is just ok nothing outstanding.

My biggest issue is if i try to print something say sky blue or pink .... I try selecting HI Res Colour / light colour garment and try 1440x720 - the choke is 100% - and everything else set to 100% but they turn out crap with no real bang in your face colour. Look more like they are 12 months old and been washed to death, even to the point i dread putting anything other than black through the machine.
My black T-shirts am over the moon with and the colours are great or seem to be! Am i missing a setting on the software or something guys !! Appreciate your help.

Have also been playing with the general printer settings in windows now and have set at photo - does anybody know which is the most reliable setting ie ...... text / text picture / photo / best photo also the paper settings etc anybody had a good play around with these settings ??

Not all pretreat is meant for the light CMYK prints. If you use something marked "white ink printing" for pretreatment, it's not going to do much on those lights if there's no white underbase.

If you have that white, then maybe it's the shirts themselves. Higher quality 100% cotton generally makes life easier, but a lower quality or something with polyester might need more pretreat and being pressed at multiple short intervals (rather than a single go to dry the pretreat) to compensate for the risk of staining.
