It sounds like your ink chips maybe need to be reset or replaced. I think the kiosk has resettable chips but I could be wrong. I would tell you how to reset them but your machine is different than mine, I have the HM1. But it definately sounds like your chips need to be reset. Hope this helps

How is it blinking? Very fast or like one blink per second?

Slow blinking, alter between power and ink lights = waste ink full (reset with epson software)
Fast blinking = Encoder reading error. Can be a number of things like a dirty strip, no oil on rails, to tight tubes in chain, to short chain etc.

I have the same problem once .... problem with contacts on flat cable - cable that brings data to print head - need to be changed ... maybe some ink came there ... a flat cable itself is around 20e but changing must be done by somebody who knows stuff !

Hope it will help.

Hi,
On the Kiosk its because the ink chips need to be reset. The Kiosk has a continuous ink supply so the ink chips never actually run out of ink, but the machine thinks they have due to the amount of printing it has done. You just need to run a clean cycle and maybe press the "ink fill" button a little to make it believe they've been changed and you're good to go again..

I thought it was possibly the Waste Ink Pad counter that needs to be reset.

What was the fix?

If it's all the inks lights and the power light, then it's a printhead obstruction or encoder strip.

It can also be that the flat head cable that goes into the back of the printhead has come loose. If this happens, the lights flash and the printhead goes a bit mental when you switch it on.
