Directemb,

Hi in general I think it stops in the center of the printer but I can say for certain its the same spot every time.

The printer won't turn on at all. We checked the fuses and they are all good.

Okay, great, thank you for those pics. Can you take a look at the ribbon cable where it rubs up against the metal piece that holds the dampers in place. I was getting this same error and that was because the ribbon cable had worn down from rubbing up against the metal and I was getting an electrical short. I put some electrical tape over the worn part of the cable and on the corner on the metal damper holder. Let me know what you think.

Is the printer not turning on a new issue? My fix was to deal with the 084 error. When did the printer start not turning on?

Today we got the error and then it didn't want to turn back on. I think I put it in my first post today.

From what I know the two issues should not be related, unless something shorted out on your MB or something that has to do with the actual powering up of the machine.

First things first (obviously) would be getting the machine to power up, then we can deal with the 084 error. Have you contacted tech support?

Our Tech that is suppose to help us is sick We have checked the continuity of the ribbon cable that goes into the LCD/boss board into the I/C board and there is one of the cables in it isn't conducting so we are getting a new cable tomorrow to see if that will turn it back on… crossing our fingers!

Just so you know, If you look at that cable where it rubs up against that corner you should visibly be able to see some wear down on the cable. If it is worn, you will get electrical currents running through your machine, I actually got a couple sparks.

Hi I have a question... I just got my M2 from Coldesi and I am trying to do a nozzle check. When I press the load button I hear a series of beeps and then I get a message saying no ink-waste tank. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

The bed has to be loaded before initializing a nozzle check.

Hello
Ok So i decided to post some info on this error which i get regularly. I have seen a lot with this machine and might be able to help others not beat there head off walls every other week when you get a new error message.

This one i have sen if the locking device is not working so wiggle clean it up dust and other things get into it. I recently also had this code again and it turned out the capping station spring got a drop of ink on it so it was tighter then it should have been and if the capping station even sticks little then this code will come forward. What i did was move the caping station back and forth and it realesed the pressure.

This machine is Very Touchy i run 100 Plus shirts a day Sunday -Saturday and still have errors atleast once a week. I am gonna post in each error i have sen to help out. My biggest tip which i am gonna include every day is never miss a day of cleaning these things break if we don't clean. Also watch your dampers and change regularly.

Hi, we also are receiving the E084 Y2current message during head cleanings. It now won't let us print now either. We have changed the dampers, fuses, the cables not touching or worn down. We have contacted support and are awaiting a response. The error came on first when we started the printer, now it won't let us do a head cleaning or print.

Are there any other fixes people have tried? The machine hasn't been used very much and is so clean you could eat off it. We went through the extreme maintenance video and did a thorough nozzle check as well. It is extremely frustrating to not be able print and lose money because of this.
