Maintenance software
I have a HM-1 printer and the maintenance software is not able to load on new computer and the dongle cannot be seen either. I purchased a new Rip Pro V05, but I need the maintenance software. I spoke to ColDesi and the tech said he has never heard of the software and brushed me off. So what it boils down to is that I cannot charge the printer, along with the other stuff I need to keep running properly. Does anyone know where to go from here?

Re: Maintenance software
It seems very wrong for me that a ColDesi representative would claim that they have not heard of that software -- we have a DTG HM1 as well, and that software is pretty much a necessity...I know there is at least one ColDesi representative on this site, hopefully he will see this post and give you some answers.

Re: Maintenance software
If I understood the tech correctly the maintenance software is in their Rip C5 and they don't have anything available to help me out. I also noticed that there are several folks out there that aren't very happy with ColDesi at the present time.

Re: Maintenance software
I have noticed that there are many people who have had bad experiences as well. We actually gave up on our HM1 after many issues, it hasn't been used for a long time (which, fortunately I suppose, means we have not had to deal with ColDesi's support services). I find it very odd that they would make this claim and offer no way to help you out, however. It just seems like it should be such a simple issue for them to get worked out...well, I sincerely do hope that someone who knows more about this will see this post and be able to offer you some real help.

Re: Maintenance software
You mean adjustement program? You can get this on the net. Qmanuals or 2manuals. Maybe there is also somewhere free one for 2400.

Those software are all cracked and most DTG manufacturers offered cracked versions so this is kind of a tabu.

Re: Maintenance software
I have a maintenance disc for v.3. I use it regularly to reset the waste bottle, etc. on my HM-1. If you cannot find an answer, I can try and burn you a copy. But you need the dongle to make it work, do you have one?

Re: Maintenance software
are you changing versions of windows? and can your old computer still read and recognize the dongle

Re: Maintenance software
So, what does your computer say when it can't read it? I have computers with both wind XP and windows 7, both can open the CD, select the programs and run them. Can you try another computer, maybe a laptop, and run it? You don't need rip pro installed on that computer to run the maint program. I had an issue once with the system files on our desktop where it would run the rip no problem, but not the Cd maint program. I Just ran a usb cable laptop to HM-1, plugged in the dongle, and away we went. I think I had to have the epson 2400 driver installed, not sure on that... Bet this would work for you too!

Re: Maintenance software
I have windows 7. When I insert the cd it wants to know if I want to create a cd and seems to think it is blank. When I plug in dongle, nothing

Re: Maintenance software
Again, have yout tried your CD in another computer to see if it reads or is damaged?

Re: Maintenance software
Look for the R2400 maintenance program on the web, it's the full version Epson maintenance program. If it's installed on anything higher than Windows XP it must be ran as an admin and in compatibility mode for Windows XP. This goes for the software that came with the machine as well... Also the dongle itself has drivers that must be installed prior to its use.
