Default DTG M2 Spit Pad

Any idea where to get replacement DTG M2 Spit Pads

or even just the material so I can cut them to fit?

I don't feel like paying 78.00 per once a month....

thanks

Hi Mark

You can remove the spit pad and run it under water every night, this will save the cost of a new one.

regards

If this is the same spit pad that is above the spit cup and not on the capping station I cut a sponge and put it in there. I wash it out every night, and it works good.

If you are talking about the spit pad and not the capping station then you need to check your distributor, they cost like $6.00 here in Canada not $78.00

Try to find a felt, sponge whatever you say in your area( You can use an old heat press felt). Cut the same size and compress it with heat press. It will work. But wash your new pad every day anyway.

My distributor sells them for 5 €, I just ordered 5 of them and I change every 1 - 2 months. I run them under water every night so they last as long as possible.

Very good point, I used my old heatpress pillow pad about 1/8" thick, to size and it works like a charm.

spit pad is about £10 from a supplies company in Belgium. the plastic holder is £50 lol...but the pad is cheap. all it does is catch ink...do you really need it? let the ink drain down the capping station.
