Default K3 - chip resetter upgrade?

Hello,

has anyone of the K3 owners purchased the ''upgrade'' option DTG distributors started to offer about half a year ago for abput $600?

It should consist of dummy cartriges and ink chip resetter replacement and some additional mods on board, and should resolve some problems with resetting and minimize ''Purging'' frequency.

Thanks in advance for all the info,

Žiga
