Why do I get the feeling that they'd be one-way tickets

The back image was designed as an 8.5 x 11 inch poster. If it's resized to 10 inches wide, it would be 12.94" high (can all DTG printers print that size)
I don't know if all DTG machines can print 10 x 12 just because I don't know all that many past the major players and the machines I've owned.

I'm just thinking that the fewer variables that are left to the printer the better since each shirt will be judged against the other; much like specifying the shirt brand and style to be printed on. The fewer variables in the initial setup of the prints will make it more likely that what remains is the result of operator ability, software ability, machine ability and attention to detail.

I understand, I just thought that garment choice might be considered inside the realm of the operator's trickery.

I can buy them all right, I just don't (and this surely is not the place for why).

The 5 design prints beautifully with DTG so I'm sure there will be a few interesting entries.

Good luck to all.

Just a reminder, if you're planning on entering, please fill out the online entry form: DTG BATTLE ROYALE Entry Form

I'm seeing lots of downloads of the entry files, but not so many entry forms coming in

Rodney,

I don't see any official rules.....so I have to ask, after printing can or should we wash the shirt to remove the pretreatment residue? or do you want the shirts right out of the heat press?

The t-shirts shouldn't be washed, since I'll be doing a wash test.

Unless I'm missing something...do DTG printers normally wash the t-shirts before giving it to the customer to get rid of the pretreat/heat press marks?

I'll check with James to see if he can outline the colors in the poster. I know the front design has the 4 pantone colors picked out because I remember approving them when the job got screen printed.
The Corel file was set up with Pantone colors. The user should be able to identify them in the file itself. I can make a master list of all the Pantone colors in the design if you would like, Rodney, just PM or email me to let me know.

I never ever prewashed shirts before they were delivered. So No they are not normally washed before the customer gets them In fact I think that should be a part of the decision, is how much pretreatment shows on the shirt after printed, and if it washes out once its washed. I never had an issue with this using my spraying with water first then pretreatment, so this could be a good indicator as well if they are also being judged on that

No we don't....normally, but have on occasion. just wanted to clear that up, you want the shirt exactly as we would give it to the customer.

Thanks...
