Default Is anyone using a DYI or P600 DTG for production?

I have looked at so many different models, all of which seem to have the same issues, inexpensive or name brand. Maintenance is always the key!
Does anyone have a P600 or similar that use one or multiples for production?

Do you use your for "production"? How many shirts will you consider doing before outsourcing or not taking?

Been using the R3000 and P600 for several years in retail and fulfillment. As with any printer you need to understand its operation system and troubleshooting approaches. We probably can not be considered PRODUCTION as we are a part time business. However we are very happy with the machines, depends on who you purchase them from. Ours are the all electric style, no encoder wheel and some other improvements. We looked at the high dollar units and just couldn't justify them unless we went full-blown, full time. As we are retired and supplement our income to the tune of 2-4 K a month we have found them to suffice. You can get the good units with online and community help for around 3K with ink and other accessories additional.
Ink usage is very conservative so cost per shirt is minimal. DuPont ink is readily available, thus it is more pocket friendly compared to the units that call for their own brand of ink.
Many will scoff at us ,and you, for not using a REAL printer, but we are satisfied as are our customers, and we can smile all the way to the bank.
