Will be a few lines of code ... thanks for the support
Gaston, Are you saying that you can preclude the PE sensor all together?

Bob: it's so ... thus no need to connect the PE sensor or the sensor or the motor ASF...the microcontroller emulates the operation of the sensor and fools the printer ...

Dang! That is slick... Doesn't sound like a DIY though... You obviously have some experience in this. What are you writing the code with MPLAB or something different? Are you willing to share the source?

Thanks,

Bob ?;O)

Actually I program PIC microcontrollers in assembly language using the MPLAB IDE environment and this work was commissioned me ... so I can not just share the source code ... if you need more details feel free to contact me by PM ...
What I can is to help regarding any questions you have for the programming and other details ...

Gaston, I see what you are doing and what German are doing are similar things. I think what you are doing is interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing it do what you say. I believe German should have a video up soon with a completed working solution. He's also going to be providing this solution to the group. I sent an email to Scott Frazier once asking who did the controller mod on his T-Jets... Well he never answered. Great to see innovative people who can help...

Thanks,

Bob

Well, here I am again ... I was doing some testing today after an impasse ... and I found something interesting about the PW sensor is that if I increase the quality of print (picture or photo above) spoke at the time of print ... which does not happen in lower print quality ... I think we should emulate the sensor ... I do not know if there will be another solution ... you had this problem you German too? any one had any experience with this? I hope some good response ... greetings!

explain a little more, might be able to help you . so you found the printer slows with higher resolution correct? i'm not understanding completely what your trying to say... we had to put the pf motor on a separate circuit to isolate it due to tha higher voltage...

Hello German ... well ... the problem is that when sending to print photo quality or better ... it is an error of "paper jam" if I remember correctly ... it does not happen in other low qualities ... then I suspect that this is the paper width sensor PW ... because if you send the print job with a sheet of white paper there is no error ... and if you send the same print job without sheet (because the sensors are emulated) results in a paper jam error ... I hope I could explain ... thanks

gaston..

what is happening is the printer is slightly slowing down--to lay down more ink..thats what we observed.. so it will not run with the basic text setting with your original fix. you will have to emulate the timing of each setting...if you keep trying to trip it manually by hand it will print.. try it you,ll see what i mean

ok ... I'll follow your advice ... but I do not understand is that if you send the same print job with no sheet of paper and paper (high quality) in a case no problem and another I find it in a paper jam ... well will I have to measure any variation of signals before emulated (ASF and PE) ... well ... thank you very much again and I hope yours is going well

also make sure your program is based off the super b or 13x19 paper size that will be the platen size in most cases. we made this mistake at first... the timing is slightly different.. what i would do is disconnect the micro put it on the quality setting and trip it by hand.. you will see that it will print -the timing is slightly different.

i can only tell you what we have found, i,m not doing the electronics but i have been involved in all the testing
