I got my r3000 finally finished using UFO base conversion which I like for the money I paid.. However when the print head comes to a stop at the left side of the printer momentarily cleans it's throat sort of, spits some ink out which is ok but some of it misses the felt padding and gets on the shirt I am printing. Is it possible that it caused by head alignment, replacement needed. Anyone had this problem here in the room??
No, but there are other options in epson adjustments program that can possibly cause that.
The easiest reason to diagnose that come in my mind is that tshirt platen is not in the center of printer frame.
So you`ve got a larger gap beetween platen and printer in right side and too small gap in left side.
Hmm.. I have an r1800 and the gap is about the same after the frame being cut, it seems to work just fine.
I will run the adjustment program again see what happens,, what I may do is glue up a pc. plastic to create somewhat of a barrier ... thanks for the info..
