The Big Question I have is Does The Wet Cap Method prevent your print head from getting clogged? For example is your not going to use the printer for a couple of days.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlrlqkSFViY

And I'm guessing when purging the complete system, I can just install some refillable cartridges filled with cleaning solution and do am Ink Charge or a few Head Cleaning until all the ink is out of the Lines, Dampers and Print Head.

But if you decide to switch with DX7 dampers for printhead, you only have to modify the ink tube, from the ink bay assembly exit to the print head, but you still use the original ink bay.
So yes there is still an ink pressurization system in place.
is there a way to put dx7 dampers to the head connected to ink bottles with completely removing the hole ink bay? i would like to know for a P600

Hello, Sometimes if you remove plastic housing then chip reader can be separate.
So,the plastic housing is on the left side of the printer with empty cartridge.

Are the DX6 and DX7 dampers quite the same for the damper mod on the printhead?
they look identically in the pictures,
somebody knows if there's a difference between the two?

Additional questions for those who cnange the original system to DX4 and DX7 dampers:

Do you have positive long time expirience? Is this modification better then original system (cartridges + fabric dampers) ?

Do you have problems with ink flow, and need to adjust the Ciss bottles Height?

Thank you in advance

Cartridge damper conversion is a MUST... using cartridges is a huge unnecessary pain in the ***... bags and dampers work great!

The printhead damper conversion is nice, but isn't really necessary... it really depends on the volume of shirts you're printing each day, month, year... the more ink, the more potential for needing a damper change. It's relative to how big your business is.

No ink flow problems. No need to adjust ink bag height. It just works.

I should mention, I just posted my entire shirt business for sale on the classifieds... if you guys are looking for DTG parts, I'm selling EVERYTHING!!

I'm retired.

Look for my username on the classified, there's about 5 listings... the Epson P600 listing has a loooong list of parts at the bottom.

PM me if you wanna buy something!
