If still having the print not line up go back to printer properties and click on advance tab and change spool print documents so program finishes printing faster to Print directly to the printer.

hi, i just did my conversion… it seems that nothing is really sharp in my prints, the is a slight blur compared to the prints from my little plywood c88 conversion… its like the stepper motor is a little off..?

Hi.
This can happen due to wrong distance of printhead to table , misalignment of printer on base or the printer is shaking in each step.
Try making the printer more stable (avoid shaking)and also check that the printerhead in each corner of table is at the same hight.

Those are the facts that affect printing a lot and those are the points on which i give ufo a negative mark!

Quick question. When you purchase the dtg conversion kit for the 3880 from ufo does it come with all the inks? I can not find any info on the website.

From UFO you get only the flat-bed (not the printer or ink)

Hey, Guys..

For those of you that who purchased the All-In-One kit from ufoprinter, how did the transaction take place? I mean what are the payment options, i.e. Visa, Paypal?

That's my only concern, really. Seems like a great system.

Thank you Pheonix!

The plattens look really small. Can we use bigger plattens than what they come with? Is therea a larger print capability than the size in the tutorial?

Like can the print area be 16" × 20"
Can the printer print a banner size like 12" × 6' etc.

Thank you fir your replies.

Can you use fire bird inks in these modified Epson printers? Ordering the base fora 1430 arts an printer and I'm trying to figure out what ink to order. I like how opaque and bright the firebird inks look in the videos.

Any advice guys?

DuPont or Firebird would be the way I would go.

Killroy can you upload a sample some of your white on black prints. And some detailed print pics?

Also, does the rip software calculate ink cost?

Cause I saw another rip that calculates ink cost, is it possible to use other rip software with ufo modified base.
