Default drum base "platten" ?

its one of those days, i cant sleep ...

so here goes, has there been any printer that prints around the belly and right into the back? so its not a square right on the front chest but a continuous picture like a belt front n back (under the armpits)

ref the pics i sketched. a double drum that adjusts to the shirt size. wrap the shirt over the 2 drums (access/load from side in this case). drums move via steppers mcu control (ratio-ed to actual drive off the printer drive or equiv). so the printer doesnt move, but the drums roll instead ...

anybody with better engineering skills wanna try?

or even this ... a 2 pass system with a jig (to really hold the shirt down) that could print over the entire front of the shirt?
but i wonder if RIP can handle such?

You are forgetting about seams and collar. Printhead would bum over those.
