Been a long time since I was here.
Still working on my 50" table top to move up & down & the printer is mounted on a moving platform.
After finding his YouTube had to check out this post.
The only thing I can see is it's NOT a spindle.
A spindle is a motor to hold the cutters to engrave on a CNC Router.
It's called a LEADSCREW & he using the ones on eBay from China.
I'm using a acme screw with 10 turns per inch which will have a 23 (200steps) stepper or DC motor using the encoded still mounted on the printer as the UFOPrinter.
Have a friend to help with the programming I hope.
DC motor make more since as the is what the Epson R2000 use's.
A DC motor is not a SERVO till it has an encoded with it.
Have build a number of CNC table with Servo & stepper over the many years & converted a few machines to CNC.

The biggest obstacle is The ecoder impulse signal amplify and motor reduction ratio setting.

Hello,
Almost finished producing UV diy epson dtg full automatic. But need for dtg quality UV CISS for UV led ink. Has anyone tested any less aggressive UV inks. I tested Aomya uv ink but not so good.
