I'm guessing your using a 1400 since we are only printing 3 channels of white... Please PM me with an email and let me work with you directly on this till we get it nailed.

Thanks,

I have uploaded a new version of GutenRip... The new version allows for selecting printing with white carts or without...

Hi,

It's the T1100 Tried the 0009 version, only I can see that has changed was the dropdown menu, maximum figures for the densities did not change.

Did you print without changing those figures? I suspect you are trying to bump up the densities in the "Adjust Output" section. I'll take a look at it. Not sure why the figure is so low.

At present, what I need is a little more density for all the channels under the output Tab. The CMYK has maximum of 2 and the Density is maximum 8. Is there a way we can adjust this a little more? I cannot find this in the xml files. Maybe in dll files.
Wil, If you run the restore option you will see that that is the default in Gutenprint. It has nothing to do with our hacks in GutenRip... I would print without changing those settings first then adjust to the eye.

Bob, I've just checked and you had become junk, spam, a pox on my inbox!!! My apologies I am tied up this morning but, when I return, I shall continue to print with my 1400. I have an 1800 sitting quietly in the corner at the moment which I'll set up properly when I can find the room!
Cheers,
QQBob

Hi.
Printed from my 1400 today. Did you alter the settings for the Mg? There seems to be a little improvement and the blue is darker.
The white underbase is quite good. 75% maybe.

Cheers,
QQBob

Very interesting... Are you using v0.0.0.9? There is a new option in that one "3 color composite HD"... I did bump up the color density as high as I could in that one. I'm not sure why it's not printing correctly though. You should be getting good results with 3 color composite. I will study the XML definitions to see what may be causing this...

Thanks,

Bob ?;O)

Yep. Using 0.0.9 but hard to prove! I haven't got a HD option in my menus. I'll uninstall and re-install just to check.

UPDATE. unistalled, re-installed Gimp, Gutenprint and White Carts option. No HD option

Also cannot exit install menu (option 5).
Cheers,
QQBob

QQBob,

You may have to find Gimp and manually place the XML from the "Change" folder... Once you find Gimp the path to the XML files looks like this...

GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\xml\escp2
