I did something similar.....cmyk normal and cleaning solution in LM LC LB ad print from epso driver....total disaster.
I have color issues with multirip, dtg inks, and the current profile. I believe that with the proper color profile things will be great.
I installed gutenprint for photoshop and works really well, if i make it lay down as much ink as multirip then we have something... I ordered and a http://www.colormunki.com/welcome/design from ebay

Thats because the epson driver uses all 7 channels , but 3 of them arent filled with the right ink.

When you are printing from photoshop , first of all make sure that you have set a color profile. You should give colormatch rgb a try.
Go to edit Color Settings , and choose "Colormatch RGB" for your working space, choose "Convert to Working RGB" under policies, and your rendering intent should be set to "Perceptual".
Now open your artwork, and if the documents profile is different , it should ask you what to do, choose the colormatch rgb.
When you start to print , choose the mrgp printer,
and go to the options screen, and under RGB Color Profile,
choose Colormatch RGB. You should also check the other options , (white or light shirt) etc... but the color profile is the biggest step to get a nearly wysiwyg.

@cmos

have you tried the multirip trial version? it doesnt work with my printer. does it work with yours , beside the color mismatching?

Yes i know why it happened, its funny in some way...
Color is not my issue right now, and i know that there are fixes so i dont worry about it.

Yes multirip worked right after i installed it, on a [email protected] and 80GB hdd....and windows XP (I hate Vista) of course on my older PC. I had some problems on how to send the 1st job... Now i go File->Create job - drag and drop the image - adjust settings if you like and print.... it will spool the same image 10 times faster than windows spooler.

Can you take a look in the About Menu , and see which letter is written behind 7.4.4 ?

I downloaded the latest version which is 7.4.4 H , and this version doesnt seems to work right with my setup, altough one of the first version which i tried earlier , i think it was version 7.4.4 H worked flawlessly. Unfortunatly i didnt saved this version

If you choose more than one color pass in the print settings tab when creating a job ,you can choose up to 4, will it do or at least spool more than 1 pass?

No letters, it says 744.1 (Beta1)
Revision 1
I dont really remember, but what i remember is that sometimes i forgot to change the default settings (1 white 2 cmyk) and it only printed 1 pass cmyk

Havent played enough with multirip as i am in testing phase and it spits a LOT of ink, so i print mostly from gutenprint

What exactly is your problem? What printer are you using? Roll or sheet mode?

What version of Gutenprint you use? On what operating system?. I run windows, photoshop and gimp but i cant find any option for large droplets. When i set print quality to manual there is nothing different to adjust... am i missing something?

V 2.6.8 - You will need the Gutenprint plugin...

Downloads - wingp - Project Hosting on Google Code

In the Gutenprint plugin select the Output Tab, Click on Adjust Output, Scroll down and you will find it under the Linear Contrast Adjustment...

Luck,

Bob ?;O)

Thank you Bob
i already have the 5.2.4 plugin and i downloaded the 5.2.5 to test.
I saw the linear contrast adjustment, to be honest i thought it was somewhere else and i miss it.
Any tips for laying down the white layer?
