Default What ink do you use with diy dtg printers?

I'm planning to make a few c88 diy dtgs this month, and I wanted to ask, what kind of ink do you use?

Is it the default ink, the paper ink? Or is there an actual textile ink that you use.

I have the plans, but it doesnt say anything about ink.

Jakeinmn,

You use a special DTG ink. The most common is by Dupont... Comes under many different label... If you thought Epson inks were expensive.... The price of DTG ink will blow your mind. But it does pay for itself.

Hope that helps,

Bob ?;O)

Does anyone know of a place where I can get a smaller load of the inks instead of buying it in bulk?

I don't need a liter, I need a pint.

Equipment Zone sells the Dupont ink in sizes all the way down to 4 oz for CMYK and 8 oz for white.

Hope this helps.

I have used this ink for almost a year now and my current printhead has been in use since August 09, its very troublefree compared to the rest and i have tested almost all of them on various DIY printers, i heartily recommend it.
