Default Looking to purchase a conveyor dryer for DTG

Anyone has any suggestions on a starting of conveyor dryer for DTG? I currently use one heat press, and it's slowing down process. I am not sure if i should invest into another heat press or just go all out on a starting dryer/expensive dryer.

Also, can i use the dryer to dry the pretreatment? Lets say i dry it with the dryer and just press it for 5 second to lay down the fibers. Will this work?

Thanks all!

Yes you can dry pretreatment in a conveyor dryer (I do this all the time) and then you can give it a quick press to lay down fibers. You should look into a dryer that is forced air as opposed to I.R heating. Forced air or convection heat this does best to remove water in the curing process for both the pretreat and ink. The only head ache you may run into is you may need to change temp/speeds when you go from drying pretreat to drying your ink. All this depends on what ink set you use and what type of pretreat because all those will vary.

I was reading that i needed a forced air dryer. I usually dry the pretreat at 320 for 20 seconds twice.. then print and cure the ink for 90 seconds 2 passes. I use Gamut ink.

Any suggestions on starting dryers? Or dryer you have experience with that works good for you?
