Default Epson 3880 No Power Faint ticking sound from power supply board

It was a normal day of printing. Shirt finished printing, then I went on to do a Printhead clean for the finish of the day, and right when I was going to push the button, the LED display on Epson 3880 went out, and all power went out. the only thing that stays powered on is the base, because it has it's own power supply. I have worked with other models, and have seen the LED display go out and replaced the F1 fuse on the other model mainboards to get them back up and running. ( Usually from a careless mistake I blew a fuse on the 600 model ) But on this 3880 I did absolutely nothing to blow the fuse. I'm thinking it was an overload from the outlet. But the F1 fuse on the Power Board is good. So that rules that fuse out. I can hear a slight ticking noise coming from the power board. I have no idea what fuses to look for on the mainboard. If anybody else has experienced this problem, please help me out!

Thanks.

I would suggest unplugging the ribbon cables to the printhead and then trying to power on. If it powers on with the printhead unplugged then there is some kind of electrical short in the printhead and it needs to be replaced.

If the printhead is not the issue then the next thing that I would recommend trying would be the entire Epson mainboard.

Thank you Mat.
Still got a no power result after trying without PH. So now I guess that is how it determines that it is the mainboard? Is there no fuses we can just pull and replace? Really sucks that this happened. The board is well enclosed, and the printer is practically brand new.

My educated guess would be that it is the main board. If it is practically brand new then I would recommend looking into any available warranty service.
